My client wanted to optimize the loading time of his WordPress site for desktop and mobile users.
Role
I optimised the loading time of this heavy WordPress website from 8.699 to 3.686 seconds according to Webpagetest even though W3 Total Cache plugin was installed and configured. Loading time reported by GTMetrix was optimized from 11.08 to 3.06 seconds. GTMetrix also reports a 96% Google Page Speed grade. Google PageSpeed Insights score was optimised to 93% for desktop users and up to 87% for mobiles. Pingdom reports loading time of 899 ms and a 97% performance grade.
