CP Vocals Live is a Vocal Monitoring app for anyone who would like to build confidence in singing by listening to their own voice. We found a need for easy-to-use tool that facilitates singing practice and confidence in your voice, particularly in environments where room acoustics are not ideal. CP Vocals Live works by playing your voice back to you through your headphones by acting like a vocal monitor, and is capable of using your phone’s built-in microphone or one plugged into the headphone jack. You can also adjust the room size by adding live reverb effects to your voice! Settings are saved automatically, so there is no need to re-configure everything each time you start CP Vocals Live. This is our first mobile app, and this is the first release version! Our goal is to continue to improve and support this project into eventual maturation. Interested in this product? This is the main screen of Vocal Monitor. This screen allows the user to start or stop the monitor, as well as to select the Audio Source, set the Mic Gain, and set the Output Volume. Toast-style notifications are displayed to provide user feedback. E.g. if the user does not have headphones, the app monitor will not start!
This is the settings page for Vocal Monitor. The settings page allows a user to add effects to the output of their voice through the headphones. The buffer size can also be increased to change how the effects are processed. Changes can be saved, at which point the monitor will restart itself.
The about page for Vocal Monitor displays information about the developer, and also requests feedback. The 'Report a bug' button allows the user to email a bug report to the developer, while the "Write a review' button links to the Google Play Store page.

Android apps require a splash screen. This is the splash screen for Vocal Monitor. We felt that simple was beautiful, and the logo centered horizontally and vertically was perfect.
Role
I created the product, developed the code in C#, SQLite, Xamarin and Xamarin.Forms. My wife and I Designed the UI, architected the system, came up with requirements and milestones.
