Tower is a Kiwi-owned and operated insurance company, with a history that goes back to 1869. Their vision is to “deliver attractive shareholder returns by growing a general insurance business that is a leading light in New Zealand and the Pacific.“
In order to completely explain the value of creating a coherent digital roadmap, the project team and I created a digital strategy document, rich with infographics, following several in-depth discovery sessions.
Subsequently. I created wireframes using Adobe Edge Reflow. This was an exciting process (and a first in New Zealand), which allowed the stakeholders to see fully responsive layouts for each page evolving as online prototypes.
In parallel to the wireframes, I worked on several digital style guides, which would inform the implementation of any specific components of the site.
Since my involvement in the project, the deliverables have enabled the development team to further evolve the website, both in terms of the visual aspects and the structure of the build.
I was asked to design a new website for Tower, which would leverage the existing brand assets and site contents, but transform the user experience across the corporate website by ensuring it was simple to get insurance estimates quickly, and make claims and payments easily too.
