Lotus Island Tea Farms imports the freshest and highest quality organic Japanese teas right from the source—one of the most respected tea farmers in Shizuoka, Japan. The client wanted to convey the high-end quality through a simple visual tone, yet wanted to keep it in intimate and down-to-earth feels.

When I started this project, the client wanted just a simple website. However, as her business grew and the time went by, it came to the point where the responsive design had to be implemented. My developer and I worked closely to make it happen without compromising the design and functionality.
I photographed the lifestyle shots at my client's office, and the table-top product shots at my studio. This way, I was able to give the cohesive look-and-feel throughout the site by using the original images, without relying on stock photos.
Role
Not only did I designed the site from scratch, but I also directed, photographed and retouched the location and table-top product shots. I worked with my trusty developer, and we made this e-commerse site user-friendly to both the client and her customers.
