About
The Congressman needed a new website with an updated look for his campaign site. I was hired to design and develop that site. The main emphasis of the site when a visitor first lands upon the home page is the Congressman's logo. The background for the slider images and the headers throughout each internal page of the site was created by me in Illustrator incorporating the main color for the campaign with a flag to emphasize the Congressman's patriotism. The fonts were designed to stand out, and as a requirement of the Congressman to ensure the text throughout the site is readable by all. I designed the site with a modern and fresh look while maintaining the functionality the site needed.

Role
The design and layout were drawn out in a wireframe. Using Adobe's color wheel site the color scheme was created. The title and body font pair were chosen, WordPress and the theme installed, layout built, images and text incorporated, requested updates and edits to content, a few responsive fixes, then the site was pushed live.
