About
My company, Coded Pixel Development & Design, required the design and development of a customized business website. We required that I design and build a cutting edge, responsive site with an HTML 5 video on the home page. The website needed to be done in WordPress so that updates could be done easily using the Visual Composer plugin. We also required a way to manage our portfolio. The site was also required to be optimized for speed on both mobile and desktop, and highly SEO optimized. A CDN was to be used to assist in loading speeds.

Arguably one of the most important parts of our company website is the skills/toolbelt section. This section uses Javascript and Visual Composer to display beautifully animated charts that communicate what we do best.
The Coded Pixel contact section displays our location, as well as a quick and easy way to contact us to chat. The form uses Javascript and Ajax technology to provide user feedback.
The Coded Pixel portfolio section, which allows us to upload new portfolio items and have them categorized and tagged, and then displayed using the Vela theme gallery plugin.
Role
My role was designer and WordPress developer, as well as project manager, and Linux server administrator. I decided on a wonderful template from ThemeForest, and went to a local beach and took 4K video for the HTML 5 video. I used Slider Revolution to implement the video. I used CloudFlare as a CDN, and W3 Total Cache and WP Smush to compress images.
