Athlete PRX combines exercise with pain relief and rehabilitation for athletes, particularly CrossFit devotees. The challenge put forth was combining these two concepts into one simple visual element that would appeal to a broad demographic. The solution: Subversively incorporate the universal symbol for a hospital (H) into the universal symbol for weight training (dumbbell). Once this foundation was established, I went deeper with some product concepts, incorporating color, photo treatments and graphic illustrations to establish a striking yet timeless visual identity.
Consultation, graphic design, copywriting, photography, logo design and illustration were all implemented to create a cohesive, consistent visual identity.
