About

This was a set of exhibit boards and a promotional rack card that I created for a local museum. The client, in this instance, gave me content for each of the exhibit boards and the rack card, and the sizes for the exhibit boards. From there, I created the look and brand of the exhibit based on reading the text they provided to me. I wanted the exhibit to have a fun, personable feeling as it was a people-centered exhibit, while playing off of the look of trapper and community boards used in Alaska for communication. In the end, this exhibit had 13 boards that were hung in the museum and a promotional rack card. I sent all items to print through a local printer, that were then delivered to the client.

One of the exhibit boards. For all of these, boards, the photographs used were provided as JPG or PNG images, the "Polaroid" boarder that they live in, as well as the descriptive text was added in Adobe Photoshop.

This was the two-sided rack card designed to go along with this exhibit. The brand of the exhibit was carried to this rack card. The rack card was created using a mix of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Role

My role was to determine the "image" or brand of the exhibit, and then implement the image through various design elements, styles and fonts throughout the exhibit boards and promotional rack card. I communicated with the client throughout the proofing and approval process. I communicated with and sent the project to print upon completion.
