About

This client used to own Cornfusion Popcorn and Treats in Las Vegas, NV

that I designed for her. Then, she sold that store and moved to Spokane, Washington. She opened a new popcorn store there and had me design a fresh website for this location. This project is the result. She couldn't be more happy with the site and is excited to kick off her grand opening of the site to build her online business. I designed the slideshow using graphics from the lunch tins they sell with their popcorn and cut out the backgrounds of the product photos that were distracting on her old site. This enabled me to make them more uniform in size and gave them all a white background to blend into the product page giving a more professional look.

One thing that she really wanted was a Create a Tin process. I created an easy step by step process so a customer can select the size of tin, the style of tin, and finally, the flavors they want in that tin. The 3 gallon tin holds 3 flavors, so I made it so they could select how many flavors & it gives the correct number of flavor choices. See graphic below.

This is the flavor selection process. 2 gallon tins can have two flavors and 3 gallon tins can have up to 3 flavors. If they only want one flavor for the whole tin, they can select only one and the will be presented with only one flavor choice. But when they select two, they are give two flavor choices and the same goes for three.

One thing they focussed on in the new store is Gourmet Cotton Candy flavors. In addition to quite a few traditional flavors, they came up with several premium flavors that mix several ingredients to give a unique flavor. I set up a flavor chart so the customer can easily select the flavor they want and click to order it. It is simple and streamlined.

Role

I was the lead designer on this project and communicated on a regular basis with the owner as she sent me photos of their product, new tins, store, etc. I put that all together in a WordPress site with a WooCommerce shopping cart.
