Chainline Brewing needed a T Shirt design for their Bitter is Coming event. The event is a Game of Thrones themed beer tournament where new beers compete for best brew. They wanted a shirt with a unique design that felt like it could come from the Game of Thrones universe but with a beer twist. We decided to go for a stylized hand drawn tree with a hop carved into it. It fit within the theme of the event and was a nice compliment to the poster.

Original sketch concepts providing a variety of ideas to work with. For each concept i provided a brief description of my thought process and how I would approach it as a final design.
After we decided on the tree concept, I provided a few more variations just to narrow down the exact style and presentation of the design.
Here is the final design printed on a T Shirt and an awesome beer glass!
Role
I provided Chainline with a number of T Shirt graphic ideas and we discussed which would be the best options and how they would be best presented. I then sketched out a couple further variations of the tree before we landed on a final style. From there i sketched the tree in illustrator and provided a high quality vector graphic for screen printing.
