About

This was a fundraising event for a local museum. This was the first event of this kind for the museum so they needed a logo that they could use from year to year and branding to go along with it. They gave me the title "BBQ, Bread & Brews" and asked me to run with it. They liked the idea of "sticker" type of image that would look good on the coaster and wanted to keep the iconic image of the city "The Keeper of the Plains" in it, if possible. They also wanted to try and target a younger age group (25-35) for this event, and wanted that reflected in the look of the event. From there, I created this logo and the subsequent branding.

This was the coaster designed to promote the event.

This was the billboard designed to promote the event.

Although never produced, this is the t-shirt designed for this event. The intent was that this shirt could be purchased by event goers.

This was the Facebook Cover Photo designed to promote the event on Facebook.

Role

My job was to design the logo and branding. I hand drew the font that you see used on "BBQ, Bread and Brews" as well as the font for the date, so that the handwritten font would carry over to other elements of the branding. I designed the logo, branding, Facebook images, a poster, a print ad, coasters, and a billboard for this event.
